Dr. Hardnett has been in ministry for over 50 years. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. In 1972, he moved to Baltimore where he served as Youth Director at Arlington Presbyterian Church.
He attended Cairn University in Philadelphia, PA where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biblical Studies. He received his Master’s in Biblical Studies from Trinity Theological Seminary. He earned his Doctorate in Biblical Counseling from Philadelphia Bible College and Seminary. He studied Counseling and Psychology at Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland. He served as an Adjunct Professor at Faith Theological Seminary in Baltimore city. He was pastor and founder of New Christian Bible Baptist Church and pastored that church for 35 years. He is a licensed marriage and family counselor and just completed his certification as a mental health coach from Light University.
He and his wife, Brenda, have been married 26 years. Dr. Hardnett has been at Bridgeway for over 10 years and was ordained as an Associate Pastor at Bridgeway in January 2019. He serves at the Owings Mills/Reisterstown Campus of Bridgeway Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Dave Michener and as one of the family and marriage counselors.
