Associate Pastor Dan Taylor
Teaching and Theology
Associate Pastor Dan Taylor has served at Bridgeway Community Church since 1993 in a variety of capacities. Currently he is a teaching & training pastor as well as staff chaplain and overseeing the Resource Center. Before Bridgeway, he has served as a youth pastor for 3 years in the suburbs of Chicago.
Earned both a Bachelor degree in Pastoral Christian Education and a Masters in Ministry from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
He has self published 3 books: Spiritual Life Notebook, The Gospel of John Day by Day, & A Different Kind of Life Devotional Reflections on Psalm 23. He also contributed several chapters to the Multicultural Ministry Handbook published by IVP.
He has taught the Bible around the world in a variety of settings, trained pastors in Kenya, Ethiopia, South Africa and Mexico and has taught a summer course titled ‘World Christianity and the Future Church’ at Capital Seminary & Graduate School.
He has been married to his wife Lori for 36 years. Has one married son, Steven, who works at Bridgeway Community Church and a wonderful daughter-in-law, Rachel who also works at Bridgeway in BridgeKids.
Loves to cook, listens to music from Bach to the Beatles and loves to read ANYTHING, but mostly loves hanging out with friends and doing life with them.
